Living in Cahokia

It was 800 A.D. in Cahokia and I was in my mini garden and I was growing crops such as corn, squash, and beans. We were living in Cahokia for quite a while. My father told me our tributaries and the Mississippi river was perfect for growing. After I was done with my job in the garden and watering my plants, I went to our giant clock in the middle of Cahokia. We (in Cahokia) told the time by shadows. The clock was made with pillars. My father also told me when we couldn't see any shadows, it was June 21st noon. He told me it was that way because the sun was straight above.

It was nigh time right now so I went to my house. Our house was on a mound shaped like a pyramid with a flat top. When I got in our house, I went to my bed and cuddle myself together to sleep.
